Ever since I was little, people would tell me how much they love my skin... But as I have gotten older, I realized that my skin is definitely not the same as it was before. I think I did the bare minimum to take care of my skin. But I'm learning that skin is a part of our body that really needs to be taken care of, especially if you want it to stay clean, clear, and soft (even at an older age).
So I bought a few of the Baroness Mask Sheets & I wanted to share with you all my personal experience with these. I will be sharing with you my review on the Vitamin-C Mask Sheet and the Red Ginseng Mask Sheet. I got these at my church's sharing festival for $1 each. Masks are usually (most of the time) about a $1 at beauty stores as well.
I started off with the Vitamin-C mask because I thought that it was the most basic and simple ingredient out of all the ones I purchased. It was definitely a safe choice to go with this one first. The instructions say to leave the mask on for 15-20 minutes, but honestly I thought it was a waste to only use it for that short amount of time. The first mask had a simple smell, still fragrant, but not too strong. It was easy to apply the mask to my face and it was very moist. After I removed the mask, I gently patted my face with my fingers for better absorption. And the next day when I woke up, my skin felt so smooth, soft, and moisturized. Totally rejuvenated and hydrated.
I was hesitant on trying the Red Ginseng mask because I usually don't like the smell of ginseng. But I tried it anyway because of the descriptions about the effects on skin. The effects were that it would restore smoothness and firmness, reduce blemishes, and revive tired skin, and help skin look refreshed. I also had this mask on for about an hour, but unlike the Vitamin-C mask, this one actually started drying up little bit on the edges of the mask.
The effects for all the masks are pretty much the same, but depending on the ingredients used, there might be one extra effect that will help your skin. I think masks are really important because they definitely help keep your skin refreshed and smooth.
It is important to also use sunscreen when going outside. Also remember to drink lots of water! I really like to drink refreshing water with lemon!
Overall, I highly recommend using these masks or any masks in general.
This brand in particular, I would give an 8 out of 10.
Those extra little steps to take care of your skin will definitely pay off in the long run!
